Birdsong Lodge
Birdsong Lodge is a wonderfully secluded romantic retreat, for couples or couples with young children. Accessed only on foot, you’ll need to walk the 130m track, part of which is a steep 1:4. We will help you with your luggage if required. The lodge has small double bedroom and double sofa bed. The views will take your breath away, looking across the wooded valley, with just a glimpse of the sea. For summers evenings the stone seat with a fire-pit barbecue is a perfect setting to watch the sun go down.
Whether you chose to stay in the summer and enjoy the perfect relaxation of long lazy days, or later in the year when the Autumn winds have turned the valley golden brown. Or come in the winter and feel the snug warmth of the lodge, when the cold days leave you feeling truly isolated. Or best of all come and stay in the spring, when the woodland mornings are alive with the birdsong that gives our lodge it’s name.

Borough Valley Cottage
Borough Valley Cottage is part of the 17th century Borough Farm, standing at the head of the Borough Valley. With sleeping for 4, the open plan ground floor, includes a dining area with amazing views across the valley to the sea, and on clear days the welsh coast beyond. There’s a small enclosed garden with barbecue and seating. The narrow cottage stairs lead to the double bedroom which has an amazingly comfortable extra-large double bed and a view across the valley. The smaller second bedroom has bunk beds and is next to the bathroom with luxury shower.
The field in front of the cottage leads to a woodland walk which can be followed along the stream to the beautiful cove of Lee Bay. The walk can be muddy and a little overgrown, so bring wellies or walking boots for autumn and winter visits.
